I often get asked, how did we get into the air duct cleaning business. It goes back to my father, as he always suggested that being a business owner was something worth striving for in life. In May of 1995, that goal became a reality. My wife and I started the business out of our home with just a single truck.
VacMan has given us the ability to raise our family with the right priorities: God first, family second, then work. Serving God passionately and applying His principles to our business has been the foundation to our success.
Today, VacMan employs 8 people! Our son Joe, after coming back from multiple tours in the military, has joined our team as a service technician and handles our dryer vent division. Jeremy Stroup and Joel Miller cover Northern Indiana from the central area West while our son-in-law, Ryan McAfee, is our service technician that covers the Bluffton/Fort Wayne and surrounding communities. Carrie, my wife and best friend for over thirty years, is our office manager… she is a busy women! And we just hired our daughter Katie to help with operations and Leah Suarez to assist Carrie in the office…what a great team!
And although our business is growing, we always strive to keep God first in our lives. My wife and I accepted Jesus Christ (God’s, only Son) as our Lord and Savior in February of 1994. We began to apply God’s Word to all areas of our lives. In turn, He has and continues to bless us.
VacMan now services residential and commercial customers in South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Granger, Culver, Plymouth, Bluffton, the greater Fort Wayne area, and really all of Northern Indiana. Our promise is to always have the best equipment and smartest technicians to provide you with the cleanest air ducts possible.
